Summer Camp 2019

Where: 4843 Monroe Rd.

When: Seven weeks throughout the Summer

Pottery Central Summer Program The camps this year will again be focused on the wheel work and also doing at least one major hand built project per week, The project will change week to week, so children taking more than one week will have a new experience each session. Children ages 7-16 are welcome (the wheels are at least a 1/2 HP) and a $25.00 deposit is required for each child, each session. Snack is included. Annual Kiln Opening and Holiday Party

Event :Annual Kiln Opening and Holiday Party

I am pleased to announce another annual holiday kiln opening, silent auction, and party!!! A covered dish throw down to celebrate art, pottery, and peace on Earth! All are invited to attend. We will have a Raku demonstration, kiln opening, the gallery will be open for perusing. This years annual holiday kiln opening and party will be held on Saturday, December 8th. It is a free event and open to the public. This year we are going all out! The agenda will include a raku demonstration, silent auction, kiln opening, a Rennelvis performance, and beer/wine/food!!! Here is the event agenda: 6:00-7:00 PM Meet And Greet- Silent Auction begins, studio tours, gallery viewing, and beer/wine/food served! 7:00-8:00 PM Kiln Opening- Pots will be unloaded hot out of the kiln and the firing process described by the artist. 8:00-8:45 PM Rennelvis Performance- Renn is a local legend impersonator and will be performing hits by the one and only Elvis Presley. 9:00-9:45 PM Raku demonstration- observe pottery being fired over 1800 degrees and plucked from the kiln and put into a fiery "post firing reduction"! 10:00 PM Silent Auction ends... late night party begins!!!!!!
