Beginner Workshop FAQs
-
Private Workshops are booked by appointment. Open Workshop is held on specific dates. Click here to schedule.
Your instructor will provide a 30 minute (approx.) demo, showing all steps involved in throwing on the potter’s wheel. You then get to do the fun part! All necessary tools and materials will be provided to throw step-by-step with the instructor. There is no specific project, the goal is to become familiar with the process and to ideally make something round, that could potentially hold something else, or not...
Throwing is a lot harder than it looks - keep expectations low, leave perfectionism at home, and enjoy the experience!
